Testimonials

“I enjoyed learning a new way to be creative with my fabric stash while incorporating techniques like free-motion quilting. Gives me more reasons to practice my free-motion quilting on a smaller scale project.”

-Nanaimo, BC Quilt Guild Member

“I appreciated you using a camera and example project as I am a visual learner. It was also fun to see the other projects, this and your encouragement, gave me freedom to think outside the box of the pattern. The techniques introduced can be used in many other situations.”

-Nanaimo, BC Quilt Guild Member

“I wanted to thank you again for your great workshop yesterday. You are a natural teacher. I loved how you kept track of everyone’s progress. So many times people get lost along the way. It was great to be able to finish the project and (not) end up with another UFO.”

-Thousand Islands Quilters Guild Member

“I did enjoy your collaged journal class. Instructions during the class were clear and easy to follow. You made sure that everyone was ready for the next step before proceeding. It was much easier to see your demo than it often is in an in-person class.”

-Abbotsford, BC Quilt Guild Member

“I was pleasantly surprised at how easily the project was completed… I just love the end product. Your introduction to this new art form,(for me) was an eye-opener. I will use this method again.”

-Chilliwack, BC Quilt Guild Member

“Love your personality. Fun, relaxed, friendly, attention to detail, and willing to answer all questions and concerns.”

-Abbotsford, BC Quilt Guild Member

“Enjoyed it very much. The fact that I could see what you were working on close up was a big bonus for me. I don’t think I would have learned as much in a classroom setting . Calling on each participant to show their picture was awesome.”

-Chilliwack, BC Quilt Guild Member

“I really liked the thorough notes to prepare for the workshop and the fact that I could finish it during the workshop. You were easy to understand and the project can easily be expanded on.”
